There was rumours that Ascension would be the remaster. Guess they decided to go with the better game. Still, strange it is just GoW3 by itself.

July 15th release. So not far away.

Ascension is still being worked on and will be released separately.

If the both of them were released on one disc I'd consider it. But for one game I already own with no added extras and a bump in resolution...It's just not worth it, no matter how much I love the game.

Bundled with Ascension would have been a way better idea. At least ppl who have never played it get a chance to now.

I hope this doesnt confirm that their new GoW is Kratos again in Greek mythology. I think Kratos is cool. I love green mythology but his story is done and the setting has seen 6-7 games. Lets freshen it up a bit.

Even if this game was R10 and came with a bottle of brandy and a 2lt coke, I wouldn't buy it! GOW were good games, but I played them to death, I think I would get sick if I had to hear Kratos shout "I am the God of War " !sick

Don't think he ever said that in GOW3. Definitely said it in Playstation All Stars though

Will they fix the bug where Zeus never dies? Couldn't finish the game because I kept punching him but he would never die and it just kept going on and on after like 20 minutes I gave up

I'm keen on this - but it depends on the price point really.

Like ppl have said before me, why did they not put Ascension with this? Yes it was not very good, but still.
As for me, I doubt I will get this again. Was an awesome game, MIGHT pick it up at a much later stage. But that’s a very slim might.

Because in the games, the quote is linked to using a special attack (I think GoW2)

he doesnt actually say the line much at all during actual cutscene moments.

Looks REALLY pretty.
But like I said before, if they had included Ascension, I would have gotten it.

I played this a few months back. Nice to relive. I just felt that they put so much work into Kratos and hardly any into the other characters. It looked off, like a PS4 Character in a PS2 game - Kratos looked amazing and everyone else was pretty much meh...
