Been told the same thing, but ignored it and told her of she throws my stuff away, her shoes and bags will be sold to pay for the replacement. That worked.

You are lucky! To find a woman who does not mind you playing video games, is one thing! Luckily games are pretty main stream these days! But to find a woman that does not mind your figuren collection, thats another story all together

Not that big a deal really, she's being with me for 12 years and knows that I will never "grow up", so it's now more of a tease than an actual threat. However she would be seriously unhappy if I put figures up in the kitched like Teb has ;P

I agree. Lucky my son is also interested in all the stuff, so I can get away with it.
Only pity certain figures is out of the question as my wife will not believe a ten year old liked them…

Another Spawn, & got it at a damn good price

I was looking at my Play Arts collection this weekend and its Crazy the price they used to cost and the price they are now! I mean when I first started collecting, FFX Auron was R255 and that was expensive then and then it was FFXII Gabranth R450 but since then its gone up like mad!!!

I mean the new Play Arts go from R780 - R1050!!! I mean that is a statue price not a Play Arts figure but I guess some statues are crazy expensive like the Superman Wonder Woman kiss R3k

Hobbies are getting really really expensive

Yeah... exchange rate, imports and just the cost of materials are crazy

I looked at my collection the other day and thought "maybe I should get rid of the lot... Naaaa, what if I really regret it?"

Then a horrible little voice whispered "What if you get rid of them, and don't even notice?"

Sometimes I wish I still had booze in the house...

@Tebulot yeah also been thinking of getting rid of the lot! Im just in such two minds about it, like I will keep the statues... Not so sure about the Play Arts... I bubble wrapped all my play arts boxes, so this past weekend i took the boxes out the bubble and to just look at all that I have and I counted I have 44 Play arts with missing sets.... But they new DC Palay Arts coming out looks so cool.... I am not sure what to do???

It was a big expense. And most of my figs has some reason for being bought. Unfortunately it's from a different time in my life (bittersweet)

I will probably keep mine until I need the space.
If I have to move again, I highly doubt if I want to go through the packing process again...

@ Video, see not thats one I would wana get but for the prices....maybe not. I mean I am getting statues for R1500 and over elsewhere so now why would i pay R1k fora Play Art Figure....
