A local company has started bringing in Ikea products from Dubai.

The detolfs are R1299 each. Cheap as hell compared to anything else you can find. Really good quality as well.

@Solar You got one impressive He-Man collection there!! Brings back memories seeing the ones i used to have! BTW where do you get them, are they new?

After searching for a while I finally got my Enterprise D ship, lights, sounds, stand, saucer section comes off! Very nice!

@KF: they've been around for a few years now but you can only get them on line from the Mattycollector website, or a bunch of online specialty stores, but you'll pay a bit for the older ones. They release one character per month, sometimes more.

So these are the remakes, not the 80s originals. Cause i now see these ones have joints in there legs. The original ones had no joints.

Yes, what they did was take the original 80's designs and update it a little sculpt wise and detailing and fully articulate them. It's the guys at the Four Horsemen Studios. A lot of the designs are faithful to the 80's toys and some characters are taken from the 200X cartoon series and made classic and now they have the right to do characters from the Filmation cartoon series of the 80's.

They have done a fine job! They have stayed loyal to the originals, which is very nice!! You can recognize them from the 80s originals straight away!
