Easy Figure Storage System
I found the easiest, most practical way of storing action figures for display. Can be done by about anyone.
Get some of those white PVC drain pipes, they come in all sizes. Cut 10 cm pieces and glue them together with PVC glue. You can create any form or shape this why and use the different sizes pipes together.
I used 50mm PVC pipes for my Heroclix and Lego figures and 200 mm PVC pipes for my larger figures like the TMNT and Marvel Select [just note figures like Hulk and Thing need larger size pipes] and 150 mm for the Star Wars figures.
Once the glue is dry you can tidy up the edges by filing the rough edges smooth and paint or spray them.
The completed structure will look like a giant round chambers bee hive. You can place the construction on the floor or hang it on the wall.
I am also looking into the possibility to mount LED lights inside the chambers.
I got this idea when I was looking for plans to build a bookshelf for son’s room.
