@KF at first I was irritated like everyone, even close to vowing I would boycott all pubs that did this. Then I realised, on PC I have an enormous Steam Library and my new gaming rig doesn't have an optical drive. I have an USB drive that I can plug in, but these days it is just easier to use the code that comes in the box to DL from Steam than to plug that drive in.

I am more and more inclined to buy games digitally as XBL and PSN are now catching up to Steam with massive sales, especially if you are a Plus or Gold subscriber. Look at Telltale Games and Hitman, those are all digital first. I expect that console will be mainly digital like PC is now within the next two years.

If any PC players are having issues with Stuttering (especially when aiming fast) and Frame Rate issues, be it online or in campaign mode, here's how I fixed mine:

1.) Disable Origin Overlay
2.) Change Full Screen to No Borders
3.) Switch GPU off
4.) Ensure your graphics card has latest update.

I recently bought a very good Gaming PC, with 10 series Graphics card, SSD and, and, and...yet I could hardly play Battlefield, the stuttering was so bad, that I could not play the campaign at all. It mostly occurred when I turn quickly or start sprinting. Online was even worse, with my FPS going down to 1 Anyway, I had a dude playing the game help me, the above settings is what I changed to, now my game is running as smooth as butter!!!

So happy gaming, and if I snipe you in the head on the battlefield, just know I'm smiling at you

I tried upgrading to Windows 10, 3 times now, every time it gets stuck on 99%...I have now given up

Odd, I have upgraded all my systems, three PCs and a microserver and have had zero issues. You may have to do a clean install

After downloading the new patch...my game is now unplayable. Freezes, excessive stuttering and FPS drops down to 1 again...patches are suppose to fix things you IDIOTS!!!!
