DOOM Eternal is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated shooters of the year, with developer id Software slowly leaking new tidbits of information and gameplay consistently over the last few months. With the game slated to release this March, we now have our first look at the initial ten minutes of the game, complete with the intro cinematic and the first few levels of gameplay in glorious 4K/60fps (courtesy of IGN). The results are absolutely insane.

The intro cinematic gives us our first look at the might Doom Slayer, now a little more intimate due to him finally removing his helmet. We can see the man under the mask - which, in some strange way, actually makes his barrage of ensuing violence all the more terrifying and bad*ss. The game doesn't hesitate to jump right into the action, throwing waves of enemies at you while introducing you to some of its new mechanics.
