And if it's fairly large is there anyone I could copy it from near Bryanston/Randburg/Fourways?

Yeah, with everyone on one server, I could join it on Saturday too.
Payday is tomorrow, so I'll finally have more than R5 available to spend on some internets. Then all that is left is to update and play.

Last night after I installed the game, I had a 3.5gig update. I cancelled right away. I'm awaiting payday so I can downloads it.

Hey guys, my gaming pc has crashed, does this game run well on the PS3 and how much data does it use while playing? I see there has been some huge updates but once all the updates have been done will it still require a lot of data while playing?

Haven't played enough to see how much data it uses, but I don't see it being more than normal MMO's. I platy DCUO a lot (more than 45 hrs per week), and if there's no updates, I use 5 gigs at the MOST per month. FF's sub however is more expensive though....the game does look much bigger than DC, so I guess more content = more $

Well I'm back at not been able to complete a version check. Got into the character creation screen last night (thanks to getting the game files elsewhere) but wasnt allowed to complete the creation process.

Gees, I am trying to do a system update coz it wont let me sign in without doing it so have not played yet. Watched the history of dvd and listened to the soundtrack. Very cool CE box.

Guess I will have to upgrade my line to uncapped, coz I have a 5GIG cap.

Any suggestions on the cheapest and best option to upgrade internet??? I have Telkom R399 1MB line 5G cap, thats including line rental.

switch to afrihost I guess.

I recommend at looking into one of telkom's closer plans. Mine is a 1mb line, 10gbs international, 20gbs softcapped, which is the same as international, just a little slower. And I play online perfectly on my softcap.

I'm sure there are plenty of other options you can check out especially if you're looking at uncapped.

I'm pretty happy with mine right now.

They said they were going to increase the server capacity, and they did, and in a GOOD way!!! I logged in twice last night, the 1st time I was queued after 3 ppl, not even a 2 minute wait and I was in, 2nd time was immediate!!! Only managed to get get to lvl 8, I was too busy checking out all the menu option and seeing what everything does etc, but OMG!!! I'm absolutely loving this game!!! It plays well, looks AMAZING and the size of the world (and I haven't even travelled much) is nice and big...SO much to do What I like is, there's no need to have any knowledge of any of the FF games to play this, I'm sure it has it's advantages, but for a new comer like me, this game invites you without feeling left out or not knowing what to do or how to play, the DEVS really made this a game for everyone, I'll say it again, WHAT A GREAT GAME!!!

I always said another MMO on console is needed and if one ever came out that's really good, I'll drop DC...well it's happened, this is an MMO I was longing for! What a great game, not even going to bother with Diablo 3 tbh, I’ll have no time for anything else but this

I finally got some internets again. Tonight I'll update the game, and start to play it. Ooh, I can't wait.
