Nintendo software sales figures (Via Gameinformer)

The Wii numbers are just staggering. Even more so when you compare that WiiU software sales.

Hopefully Nintendo looked after all that Wii money, because the ways thing are going now, that Wii money is going to look after them.

for once I wish everyone would just forget about the business side of gaming (unless you are a shareholder or work for the industry), and just have fun with the games while they last -_-

I dont see why ppl cant talk about the business side. For lots of ppl its an interesting avenue for information. That is not stopping them from having fun with games. 2 different conversations: that is what is forums are for, to talk, share and/ or debate information.



as for the Wii, its top sellers definitely were aided by being part of bundles. But yeah, some really impressive sales.

Didn't say you can't still enjoy games, but it just gives off a depressing vibe whenever I just want to read about the latest games on my favourite blogs and an article about "[insert company here]'s impending doom" is shoved in your face with large bold letters on the front page

These guys play in a totally different ballpark financially than most of us here could every dream of. Don't let it get to none of them are going anywhere yet, especailly nintendo.
