As awesome as the game is, i imagine it wouldn't be the best game to pick up if you don't plan on trying the multiplayer at some point. you'd really be missing out if you don't try the co-op. that said i'm starting on the 3DS version so i'll probably be playing solo for a while as well. still an amazing game though, i can't imagine anyone with a wii u or a 3DS going without this game.
