Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

Except "other" developers cut out content of their games and sell it back to you on day 1...or make you pre-order a game in order to get specific content that may/may not be retail exclusive...what Nintendo is doing here is offering you a jack load of content, and reasonable prices...as opposed to other companies that would sell you individual characters, courser etc for the same price tha one of these packs would go for...

1. Show me proof that so many other devs cut content.

2. I guess you conveniently forgot the Hyrule Warriors pre-order DLC.

3. There is no proof that this content is a jack load worth until we actually can see what all the content is first.

4. Why not give examples of similar games with similar DLC that is priced higher.

Nothing here suggests that Nintendo knows how to do DLC better than anyone else, and such praise is ludicrous. Especially coming from the company that sells at least 2 versions of every pokemon game, and forcibly locks out a variety of pokemon from each game.

All I did was ask you to provide examples of 2 of your claims.
(while pointing out that your preorder dlc point was wrong)

And instead you hide behind the words of someone whose only form of reply against someone who thinks differently to him is insult.

I am more than willing to wait for someone else to reply in your place, so that this discussion can continue.

On another note I just realised that the new update adds map support onto the TV. Man, that will make things a little easier against my friend. He is unstoppable at this game...

Last time I checked I'm not google, but I'll give you a hint...Google "Ubisoft"...they're this European/Canadian/Whatever games developer and publisher...Don't forget EA, they have been around for quite a while...how bout SEGA? Think they do this kind of stuff as well...as I recall Arcsystem works/ATLUS recently revealed Day 1 DLC for their next fighting game as well...I think staying in the land of Nippon has dulled your senses of what goes on most of the world...

I would like to say that I am surprised by the snarky reply, but I am not.

You are asking me to do your work for you.

The MK8 DLC is a good offer. But it is nothing special as you make it out to be.

What about GT6? That game has no DLC, yet free updates continually (almost monthly) add new cars and tracks. All of which I am pretty sure requires more work, if not at least equal, to these MK8 DLC packs.

Forza 5 also offers free content in addition to its DLC.

AC4 (from Ubisoft)character DLC is a dollar each. Customization options for vehicles are a dollar. And new actual game content ranges from 5 to 10 dollars.

Of course these companies have bad DLC practices, just like Nintendo have proven with pre-order DLC incentives (if you consider that bad that is).

The MK8 DLC is cool, but that is about it: pretty standard affair for DLC.

Mario Kart 8 DLC round up (Pack 1)

"$12.00 For buying bundle (Pack 1 and 2)"
"$7.99 Individually"

Now that's some great value for money right there
