@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

Post from nordic developer on the steam forums

http://steamcommunity.com/app/388410/discussions/0/496880503064382496/#c496880503064408520

"Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition was just the start. Since we acquired the franchise we were looking for options for doing a DS3. The remaster was just a way to get some spotlight on the franchise again, reactivate the community and have a better starting position for DS3."

That's good to hear.

I'm not sure they've generated all that much good will on console with people complaining the game isn't 60FPS but they did at least ave a 'loyalty' plan on PC so I noticed I got the Deathinitve Edition for free from GoG for having both old titles (not that my old laptop can run it at any decent FPS).

Personally I'm hoping their is still plans to remaster the first game before making a big DS3 announcement. Both sections set on earth in DS2 (parts of Aact 3 and The Demon Lord Belial DLC) ran completely smoothly which some much improved textures and lighting. I'm hoping these assets could be the start of a remaster for the first game which, while out of release order, would better wrap up both games in preparation for the 3rd.

@Scottie - That will be a must buy remaster for me. Loved the first game, even completed it on APOCALYPTIC

@Scottie - Just as I was mulling over the idea of also picking up the Xbox One version of Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition in an excuse to throw even more money at them!

The first game was a lot more focused and refined, so it might actually do better than the 2nd game in retail (and appeal more to people who have never played the series). Also the ending is more important leading into - hopefully - Darksiders 3.

Wish they had thought this through and rather released the remasters as something like "Darksiders: Death" and "Darksiders: War" seeing as the games occur more-or-less at the same time and could be played standalone.

I'd love a remaster pack of both games.

More than that though, I'd love to see this series continued.

They can get more money if they release them separate. Then both on one disc, like they should have

Yes it was, but I would have preferred a remaster pack of both games, not the 2nd first, and then the first.

At the very least both remasters should oome bundled together with all DLC.

As you could get them on PS3 (though I'm not sure if the PS3 game pack had all the DLC).

Continuing with odd naming policy ...

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition has been officially detailed by publisher Nordic Games after last week’s convention announcement (in Spain).

The refreshed version of the Vigil Games debut is coming soon to PC PS4, Wii U and Xbox One.

On top of the content of the original Darksiders release the Warmastered Edition boasts the following features:

Native 1080p rendering resolution
Doubled all the texture resolutions
Rendering improvements and rework
Better shadow rendering quality
Post processing effects
60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay (30 FPS for WiiU)

@Scottie - At least they're being consistent in their marketing department.

Any idea if it's both physical and digital, or just digital release?

THQ lives again! Nordic Games changes its name to THQ Nordic. I just hope they're more cautious with their finances and projections.

@KF Nordic bought Darksiders didn't they so they will have that if I am correct. Would assume that the rest of the licenses will be kept by whoever bought them, unless THQ Nordic can come up with the cash to buy them back.

Yea, Nordic has Darksiders. So THQ with Nordic = Darksiders 3 maybe...
