Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.
Just a straight up fighter, but more then about combo's it is about faking out your opponent. Still early alpha and only 4 characters but still pretty fun to play.
You get three stances/forms that you can be in. Fast, Balanced and Heavy abviously these refer to attack speed and streagnth.
You can block an opponents attack but this isnt always fool proof as they can charge an attack and break through it. You can also parry attacks in which you time your strike to meet theirs but you have to be in a heavier stance to win the parry.
E.g Opponent is in Fast stance you but be in either Balanced or Heavy stance to win the parry. This actually makes parries pretty tricky to land.
Overall for very early Alpha I am impressed, it's fun to play and still a whole lot more can be added to it.
