Isn't that because the other gaming mags closed down. So those readers jumped to OPM?
I only used to read GM, they are still going strong. I think they are heading to their 300 issue soon. But the local guys here *cough*CNA*cough* stopped it. They would rather have a hundred different bridle & car mags instead. & a whole two gaming mags to choose from.
& I'm not paying over R200 for an issue of OPM. Which I have never been a fan of anyway.

@Scottie let's be honest if someone wants to get into any device you have they can if they are determined enough. Do I hate that so much of my data could be accessed by governments or people with less than honest motives, yes. Am I worried, a little bit but not excessively so. I am one of a couple of billion people with a smartphone and internet access and I am not very important to anyone besides my family. I am careful with where I go and what SW I install so protect myself as best I can. Statistically, I am unlikely to be affected by this unless it is part of a mass breach, such as the PSN one a couple of years back.

Even though it doesn't apply directly to the iPhone, it's like no one ever heard of Heartbleed. There is always an exploit or flaw. This shouldn't be surprising to anyone, and if the reality is only hitting you now that your precious device isn't as water tight as you thought... well...

I think more people should be made aware of what our technology is and what it isn't.

@Scottie that is always the risk with Kickstarter and all crowdsourcing. I take the attitude that I am helping someone achieve their dream and that if it works I'll get something cool that I want and they hopefully getting a succesful business started. Basically a donation and not an investment
