@IkariX I recently Played the Final Fantasy 7 original for the first time After playing FF7 Remake Part 1 and I didnt enjoy the original at all,It wasnt as good as FF8. However My Current favorite FF game so far is FF16.I also feel like you cant really compare the original to the remake trilogy untill the trilogy is complete.

I still can't get over what an amazing game Blood Of Dawnwalker was. I feel depressed now after finishing it. Everything is so well done in the game, side quest and all.

I haven't even touched Rebirth yet lol and I really enjoy the Remake stuff, even more so because it's a sequel to the original, but FF has gone downhill overall imo. Trails is my current favourite JRPG series, and it's really not even a close competition.

No one is stopping you from enjoying the FFVII Reamke games. But my point still stands, it's poorly written fanfiction. First time I played Final Fantasy VII was in 1999. Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil 1(I still have both), were my first 2 PlayStation 1 games. So I've played Final Fantasy VII numerous times over the years. What what the Remake games are, are nothing more than imitators.

It's mass market slop at it's finest. Does it make it terrible games? Not at all, Remake Part 1 was fairly decent. But let's not pretend that any of the remake games are as good as the original. I hope Square Enix doesn't touch Final Fantasy VIII. Because they'll ruin that as well.

@phreak - Dont't get me wrong, many fans have valid criticism's with the game and I respect that. And It sucks when a game you're excited for doesn't hit the way you'd hope. I mean as fans we want to enjoy all entries in our favourite franchises.

I feel that as I'm getting older I rather just enjoy games for what they are.

One thing that I am not happy with is that FFVII Revelation will not be fully on disc, even though physical discs are included.

I'm a pretty hardcore FF fan but if you love the Remake series, as I do, you also kind of have to understand that a lot of contentious decisions were made in the story and it's just not gonna land with some people. I totally get why some folks don't like it or agree with the changes.

I do hope however that the announcement of FFXVII is close, feels like the FF fandom needs a new mainline title to reset after the Remake series lol

Creators Unite! Are you a content creator or influencer that wants to leave an impact through your profession? Creators United is about YOU helping CHARITY by doing what you do best.

The Nexus Hub, in collaboration with select partners, is proud to announce the CREATORS UNITED, a refined iteration of last year's Creators Ball. This event brings together Streamers, Vloggers, YouTubers, Writers and Influencers, donating their time and skills all in aid of raising funds for charity in a 24 Hour non-stop livestream event, starting July 27^th and running through to July 28^th, 2019.

And this time, with the selected charity being for the Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children's Non-Profit, our theme is SUPERHEROES!

The Creators United Event; what is the actual event about?

Content creators using their own platforms to raise funds for the highlighted charity, be it on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or other social media platforms to garner donations from their respective audiences. This can be done at the venue or remotely.

A 24 hour streamer challenge whereby selected local content creators try stream for the full twenty-four hour event as a donation challenge.

The Nexus Hub hosts a 24 hour Live Stream on their channel with various content and persistent engagement for viewers to participate and donate to the charity. Activities include:
Interviews with brands and sponsors.
Interviews with the charity.
Workshops and discussions with the content creators.
Fun activities and on-air challenges for audience engagement and donation target drives.
Pre-produced content featuring the brands and the influencers involved.

Pre-produced content featuring the charity, objectives and people involved in making these sorts of organisations succeed.

For this event, Creators United aims to reach a target of at least R50k in donations, with the theme of the event being Superheroes. We are anticipating over forty local content creators to participate, at least six key brand sponsors all involved in the fund raising process.
