Description
Wanderstop is a game from the Ivy Road team, including Davey Wreden (creator of The Stanley Parable and The Beginner's Guide), Karla Zimonja (co-creator of Gone Home and Tacoma) and Daniel "C418" Rosenfeld (composer of the music for Minecraft).
Wanderstop is a heartwarming story about tea and change. Playing as a fallen warrior named Alta, you run a tea shop in a magical forest, tending to its passing customers. But Alta doesn't want to be there. And if she leaves, the tea shop will be nothing but a distant, painful memory.
Wanderstop is based on the ritual of running a tea shop. Grow and harvest the ingredients needed to prepare tea and combine them in a most unusual tea machine. Along the way, you'll talk to many travelers who stop by your shop, discover their stories, and prepare the perfect tea for them.
In your free time, you can tidy up the clearing, decorate the shop to your liking, or simply sit on a bench with a cup of tea and meditate. Doing nothing is perfectly acceptable. The shop requires patience and will not reward those driven solely by unbridled growth.
And that's why Alta can't stay. That's why she'll never succeed. It's not her. No, she's a fighter! Who would insist on turning the world's greatest warrior into a docile trader?! With all that she's capable of… No, no, no, it's not possible, she won't do it… she can't…
