Description
The World of Monster Hunter Stories
Monster Hunter Stories is an RPG series set in the world of Monster Hunter, where you become a Rider and form bonds with monsters, fighting alongside them as you embark on a journey with your friends.
Azuria and Vermeil: two countries, on a path to destruction
When all hope seems lost, an egg is found. Inside is a Rathalos, a species thought to be extinct.
But this quavering light of hope is quickly extinguished, giving way to the darkness of despair.
Born from the egg is not a single Rathalos, but twins, bearing the Skyscale marking that hearkens back to the disastrous civil war of 200 years prior.
The natural world teeters on the verge of destruction, with countless monster species facing extinction. In the shadow of these dark times, the flames of war rekindle.
Raise Your Team
Build and raise a team of Monsties, forming kinships with iconic Monsters from the Monster Hunter series like Chatacabra and Rey Dau.
Battle in Turn-Based Combat: Experience the strategic turn-based battles using the popular rock-paper-scissor system of Power, Speed, and Technical.
Strategize with different moves and unleash long-range breath attacks or close-range strikes to gain the upper hand. Or build up to the new Synchro Rush where your entire team joins forces to deal massive damage.
Explore an Enhanced World
Enjoy new stylized 3D graphics that bring the Monster Hunter Stories series to life.
Seamlessly explore expansive environments with no screen transitions during Riding Actions like flying or climbing, giving you a sense of freedom and immersion as you journey through open areas.
