@TheOneMCMK: Not sold per se. They made an agreement. Spider-man could be part of the MCU but Sony had to give up merch rights. After the flop of Amazing Spider-man 2, Sony was desperrate to get the movies back on track. Well...it worked. MCU spidey movies made a fortune.
@Tea, Absolutely, but sadly this is the case with a lot of games that are supposed to be single player experiences. Like AC Odyssey's pathetic XP boosters. Well, any Ubisoft game to be honest. I hope these practices dwindle as time goes on
@Lord Alaric - its not the case with single player release, i agree with you opn multiplayer stuff, but there still is massive risk on games, especially when there is no guarantee on the qty it will sell
@Fantomex - We are expecting a 10USD increae on next gen software yes. But local distributors are pushing back to find a happy middle ground for SA consumers as nobody can afford games as 1599+ for standard editions...
@Coffeboy, Same here, but I find paying up to R1200 for a new release to be absolutely absurb. Scoring games for 150 on the PSN or XBox Store is just so much more feasible. I used to buy every game I want on release, and then end up not being able to play the game because of my backlog, by the time I get to the game the damn thing is already on sale so personally I will only buy games on launch if there is some special edition I really want
@coffeboy honestly speaking, FFVII is the last game I buy on release. I own a secondhand store, can just as well wait for the games to come through my Buyshop. The prices simply aren't justified (The devs/publishers, not the retailers)
