Xbox One X release date, standard pricing, and stock details
Microsoft has finally given us some more concrete details on the Xbox One X launch in South Africa -
The official launch date is the 22nd December 2017, right before Christmas, although it may release sooner if possible.
The pre-order price remains R7499, going up to R7999 post-launch. Still impressive given the power of the machine and how badly our currency has fluctuated recently.
Given we're a relatively small market, and a good chunk of Redmond probably don't know we exist, its might be wise to pre-order now if you want to get your hands on the console before the end of the year. Unfortunately, the initial stock will only cover pre-orders and the ETA on the next stock allocation is likely January or February.
