Bethesda and Wolfenstein developer MachineGames dropped an interesting teaser trailer yesterday for an Indiana Jones project. This came as a surprise as nobody expected it, but it looks like Bethesda - possibly under Xbox's acquisition - is gearing up to give Microsoft their own Uncharted-esque exclusive. No other news has been revealed other than the brief teaser trailer, but we know that MachineGames, who generally specialize in first-person shooters, might be a great fit for the upcoming title if it does aim to be a third-person action/adventure in the vein of Horizon Zero Dawn or Uncharted.

The teaser trailer opens with a list of familiar items on a table before finally revealing Indiana Jones' iconic whip and hat, before the screen fades to black. The game currently has no confirmed title, and we assume it might still be in very early development, but we know that MachineGames will be the primary developer behind this project, under the newly reformed Lucasfilm Games. Todd Howard, the executive producer on The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, will also serve as the game's executive producer. "It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news," said Bethesda.
