The Game Awards host and creator Geoff Keighley recently posted coordinates to a location in the Mojave desert, drumming up plenty of hype and speculation as to what it could be. Curious fans went out to this location to discover a strange statue had been placed there, featuring skeletal figures, limbs and horned demons. The monolithic statue quickly gained attention online with speculation running rampant about which game is being teased. However, Windows Central’s Jez Corden claims it’s for Diablo IV.
Replying to posts on X, Corden revealed that the strange statue being teased for The Game Awards was in relation to a new expansion teaser for Diablo IV. Corden cryptically added, “yes, but also, more.” Judging by the carvings and sinister design of the occult-like statue, it definitely fits with the aesthetic of the Diablo franchise. As for what “more” means, there are plenty of theories to consider.
