Sony has announced its ultra-customizable DualSense Edge controller aimed at those who want to get a little bit more out of their gaming experience. The controller comes with fully customizable controls, a changeable stick cap contraption, back paddles and more.
Sony says the controller features a number of hardware and software-based customization options that enhanced the DualSense experience even more. Although there’s no release date or pricing for the controller yet, the feature list gives us a glimpse of things to come. It might also pack a hefty price tag. By the sound of things, the controller is aimed at offering a “premium” experience to fans.

In a nutshell, the DualSense Edge controller is an enhanced version of the one you already use. It will still include haptic feedback, motion support and adaptive triggers but the added “pro” features are things that fans have been asking for. Here’s a rundown of the feature list.
"In addition to the included stick caps and back button sets, the DualSense Edge wireless controller comes with a USB Type-C braided cable, which uses a connector housing to lock into the controller so it’s much less likely to slip out at a crucial moment. The included carrying case, which keeps your DualSense Edge wireless controller and components together and organized in one place, allows you to charge the controller via USB connection while it’s stored in the case."
