In the 1-minute video, the narrator tells us that Japan was engulfed in war during the last few months of the Sengoku era. A large man cuts a thin slice across the boy's face, asking, "What's the matter stray, nothing left to lose?"
Fast forward a good while and our battlefield boy has grown up. The man who approached him all those long years ago tells him, "That day I pulled you from the battlefield, I had no idea what you would become".
Though the trailer doesn't reveal too much about the story, it do give us a bit more background on the Shinobi we will be playing as in the game.
