The Home Theatre PC setup is a niche, yet a surprisingly popular one. The idea of having a PC plugged into your TV is not one many entertain; who wants a huge, noisy tower sitting in the lounge? But, with gaming on TVs via Steam Big Picture becoming easier, VR setups being suited for the larger lounge rather than cluttered guest bedrooms/studies, and people still willing to, ahem, source their shows and films from less-than-legitimate sources, the need for a decent wireless keyboard solution with a trackpad has increased. This [iCUE] software is easy to use and navigate, breaking down each category of control from the mundane, the backlight colour (happily not RGB), to complex macros that allow you to record often used key combos that can be activated with a button press
In terms of battery life, the internal rechargeable battery, via the included USB Type C cable, lasts forever
Grumpy Old Man who still collects toys (THEY. ARE. NOT. DOLLS), PC Gamer lured to the Dark Side of console gaming, comic book reader and fan of all things pop culture.
