As most of you know, the PlayStation 5 has seen an absolutely massive launch - so much so that it has sold out completely in most countries, including its online orders. Fans who weren't able to get their hands on a console at launch were told to wait for second drops to arrive, and it looks like that will happen fairly soon. In a recent tweet sent out by PlayStation, the gaming giant confirmed that the PlayStation 5 was their biggest console launch ever. However, they also addressed the issue of stock shortages too, which has become a problem worldwide for fans who were unable to pre-order at launch - either due to very high demand or numerous scalpers who are now coming under fire for their practices. PlayStation confirmed that they will send more stock to retailers before the end of the year, which is great for those who were unable to get their hands on the new console before Christmas and the holiday season.
