Ninja Gaiden 4 Announced For PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC – Coming Fall 2025
Ninja Gaiden 4 has officially been announced at the recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase. Developed by both Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, it’s currently set to release in fall 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. This marks the first new entry in the hack and slash action series in over a decade.
Ninja Gaiden 4 will be co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, the studio behind Bayonetta and Nier: Automata, and published by Xbox Game Studios Publishing, set to release on an unspecified date in fall 2025. Thankfully, it’s not an Xbox exclusive as it will also release on PS5 and PC in addition to Xbox Series X/S. It will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
“We are staying true to the challenge and deep action that defines the Ninja Gaiden series, while incorporating the speed and dynamic expression of PlatinumGames,” said Platinum director and producer Yuji Nakao on the game. “We are putting all our efforts into making this a true mainline sequel that continues to evolve the series.”
