Metro Exodus is among many of the heavy hitting games coming out in 2019. A new trailer came out showcasing the story and going into detail about what to expect in the latest Metro title.
The tunnels of Moscow Metro is an abysmal place to live after the world has seemingly come to an end, but that will always inspire some form of hope in the hearts of many fighting their way through it all. The surface, however, is not a nice place to be either. The world is infested with monsters and humans who are just as bad.
The new trailer is narrated by Ana, the best Spartan sniper and also Artyom's wife and travelling partner aboard the Aurora; the train that will carry them out of Moscow and across the infected Russian landscape. Fans of the series know that Artyom, the lead character featured in the first two Metro games, believes there's a life outside of Metro. Exodus will see the hopes of the last refugees being put to the test as they embark on their expedition through the Russian wasteland.
Despite the refresh to the series, Metro Exodus still looks... very Metro. That's not bad in any way. The survivors of war are still at each other's throats. We also get to see The Reich being a factor in the game, and the government that you see in the trailer resembles the Red Line.
Will defend anything Dragon Ball. Occasionally has two-way conversations with himself. Has sleepless nights about Half-Life 3 confirmed.
