Take a tongue-in-cheek, satirical trip to The Outer Worlds in Obsidian's upcoming SF RPG shooter, where robots poop and exploring the vast unknown is safe as sticking your head in a lions mouth.
The Outer Worlds' latest trailer takes on the form of a corporate recruitment ad, albeit one that has a distinct 60's tone and humour, where the coporation is your family but isn't, and your safety really isn't its primary concern. It's a future where the lowest test scores will secure you a position on a colonising expedition across a multitude of planets whose inhabitants you can tame with smashy weapons, while, hopefully, avoiding permanent concussion.
The Outer Worlds definitely has a Fallout-in-space vibe going for it, but one steeped in colour and 60's flair. Hopefully, the humour that this trailer has will translate into the final game. It's certainly plopped this down (no pun intended) firmly on my radar.
