We’ve known for a while that Microsoft has plans to make many of its Xbox exclusives multiplatform going forward. Last year, the company released a handful of former exclusive Xbox titles like Hi-Fi Rush on PS5, with rumours of more first-party titles on the way. A new report claims that we’ll see quite a bit of big franchises make their way to the PlayStation in 2025 including Halo and Gears of War.
Last week, known leaker NateTheHate claimed that both Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be heading to PS5 this year. Windows Central has now corroborated these claims, adding Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Age of Mythology and “possibly” Gears of War Ultimate Edition to the list of games potentially coming to PS5 in 2025.

We're in an age of inflated budgets and third-party exclusivity deals are probably going to be minimal going forward, so I'm curious now to see what hardware gimmick Xbox can come up with to keep people on that platform?
A back compat library to the X360 era is always a huge bonus for me as that's when I started building a digital library, but I wonder if we're gonna see a portable/dock-able Series S style device? Or maybe a dock-able console/PC hybrid with full productivity features that could replace appeal to people who game on console and work on laptops?
