Fortnite is no stranger to strange crossovers and collaborations. Case in point, their latest crossover with Marvel introduces Galactus into the game, who manages to create some multiverse shenanigans allowing for plenty of potential crossovers to suddenly (and without question) happen in the game. Recently, both The Mandalorian and Grogu (more famously known as Baby Yoda) were announced to appear in Fortnite, but it now it looks like an axe-wielding maniac is also visiting Epic's colourful world, as Kratos was leaked to appear in Season 5.

"The next guy you’re picking up has literally vanquished multiple gods, with his bare hands, in a fit of uncontrollable rage," said a teaser posted by PlayStation's official Twitter. We can't really figure out anyone else who fits that bill as much as God of War's Kratos, who has a notorious history of slaying gods across both the Greek and Norse pantheon. In case you were left wondering if Tom Nook from Animal Crossing would still see his god-vanquishing days ahead, a leak appeared on the PlayStation Store all but confirming that Kratos is the playable skin coming to Fortnite.
Kratos, according to the leak, is scheduled to enter Fortnite Season 5, Chapter 2, though there hasn't been any official confirmation of his involvement yet besides a rather obvious teaser from PlayStation. This version of the god slayer is based on his 2018 look, complete with the beard and more rustic appearance. Fortnite is about to get crazy with its crossovers, and this just marks the beginning. Either way, it's a very creative strategy to get players coming back to the game while introducing fresh ideas. I'm honestly surprised Epic Games managed to keep Fortnite so going for so long.
