Tango Gameworks, the Bethesda-published studio behind The Evil Within series, revealed a new trailer for their upcoming action/horror title Ghostwire: Tokyo at last night's PlayStation Showcase. Ghostwire: Tokyo was first announced back in 2019, but has since received annual updates via new trailers. This latest trailer comes before the game's release (which is still expected to be early 2022, though no release date was given). The trailer gives us a glimpse into more gameplay, using rather unique mage arts as your primary combat, tackling Japanese folkloric creatures and monsters. It's an ingenious concept that makes Ghostwire: Tokyo one of the most refreshing and promising gaming experiences in a while, though it's weirdness certainly won't be to everyone's tastes.
