Get Hands-On With The MSI Claw – Pre-Orders Open This Week in South Africa
MSI, the leading gaming technology brand in South Africa and worldwide, is set to enter the handheld gaming scene with its upcoming MSI Claw, a powerful portable device to dominate the market. The MSI Claw will allow players to take their PC gaming libraries on the road, powered by Windows 11 Home, Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and MSI’s impressive in-house technology.
MSI is now giving fans the opportunity to get some exclusive hands-on time with the Claw, with pre-orders going live this week.
Be The First to Try Out The MSI Claw A1M
MSI will feature its 14th Gen lineup publicly at the Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria on Thursday, 21 March at TechMarkit. MSI will celebrate the day with gaming activities across the featured line-up, and reward participants with limited edition MSI prizes. Gamers can enjoy the latest in games, including Tekken 8, Helldivers II and more.
In case you’re unfamiliar, TechMarkit is a retailer that sells new and pre-owned tech. Buyers can even trade in their old components which are then graded through a process that determines the component’s value based on its condition and quality. The credit can then be used towards new products – including the MSI Claw.

Place: Menlyn Park Shopping Centre TechMarkit, Shop LF 27/28
Pre-orders will officially open at TechMarkit on 21 March. The public can get hands-on with the CLAW and pre-order it on the same day.
Pre-Order and Receive A Gift Pack Valued at R1000
Once pre-orders open on 21 March, early buyers will receive a free Gift Pack from MSI valued at R1000. This includes the MSI Claw Travel Case, MSI Claw Lanyard, MSI Claw Keychain and 7” MSI Claw Tempered Glass Screen Protector.
Additional accessories that will be available for purchase include the MSI Nest Docking Station which will retail for R1500.
The MSI Claw A1M will hit store shelves nationwide on 21st April 2024 at a retail price of R17,999 (incl. VAT). Retailer availability will include: TechMarkit as well as Evetech, Computer Mania, GAME, Incredible Connection, Nexus Hub, Kloppers, EKD.
