Dragon Age: The Veilguard didn’t do as well as EA hoped it would. The RPG launched in October and only managed to reach half of EA’s expectations. The company was hoping that the game would garner 3 million players during the first quarter of launch but only “engaged” 1.5 million players.
EA hasn’t stated whether or not these 1.5 million players are direct sales or active players. Keep in mind that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is part of the EA Play Pro subscription, so you can play the game without actually buying it. EA might be reporting on the general player engagement across the subscription. As for actual game sales, we don’t know how well these performed.

The first Mass Effect was brilliant and only like 15 hours long if you did the core missions. Maybe an extra 5ish if you did the dull side quests. I rather they do games around the 15-20 hour mark and focus on providing more variation within that campaign rather than just the ending.
