Cyberpunk 2077 is a day away from finally releasing, and it seems a bit surreal to even think that. CD Projekt Red began development on the ambitious game as early as 2012 (and may have put it on the backburner to focus on a little known fantasy RPG game first). Now, years after its resurgence at E3 2018, the Polish developer will finally deliver Cyberpunk 2077 to the world. To celebrate its launch, a trippy trailer was put together showcasing the hustle and craze of Night City - promising we'll be in for one hell of a ride in the future, as it potentially teases some exciting prospects for future DLC.
"Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City."
