If there's one game from the previous gen which caught me by surprise, it was easily Catherine from Atlus. The dreams infused puzzle platformer was so brilliant, so mind-bending that I found myself dreaming about it nightly until I finished it. Ironically, a lot of the game takes place in dreams, so the comparison seems apt.
It's the type of game that has been crying out for a sequel, or at the very least a remake... and the latter is exactly what we will be getting. Atlus has announced that Catherine: Fully Body will be released on the PS4 and PS Vita, with the remake being led by Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino.
Oddly, the game will include a third main character (a third Catherine of sorts) to add to the mix, meaning the game will have some drastic differences. It's the type of game that will be perfect on the Vita and should be most welcome on the PlayStation 4 too. Hopefully, it gets enough sales that a sequel moves into development too.
Sarcasm and irony are his greatest tools, sport, adventure and shooting all the fools. Platformers =admiration, horror games = contempt, plans to live forever or die in the attempt.
