But of Course Fallout 4 is Getting a Re-Release in Time For The TV Show

Fallout 4 is turning 10 years old on 10 November, and to celebrate the decade-old milestone, Bethesda is releasing a new anniversary edition of the RPG that will come with some “anniversary things”.

Dubbed the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, the game will include all six official expansions, over 150 Creation Club items and mods, and access to the Creation hub so you can download even more mods for the game.

The re-release of Fallout 4 also comes just in time for the upcoming Fallout Season 2 TV show, which is set to debut on 17 December. This isn’t the first time the developer has done something special for the game around the release of the TV show. When season 1 dropped, the studio released the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrades for the game, which saw a whole bunch of players flock back to the Wasteland (I know I did).

Bethesda also announced that the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will eventually come to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. While there’s no release date, the game will release on the portable hybrid console sometime early next year and feature all the content found in the other versions.

Bethesda also announced that Fallout Shelter and Fallout 76 will get in-game content themed around the anniversary and TV show.

Todd Howard says there’s even more cooking at Bethesda for Fallout but didn’t say exactly what it is. He simply says he can’t wait to share the news with everyone someday.
