DICE and EA Games have released the launch trailer for Battlefield 6 ahead of its global launch later this week, featuring plenty of environmental destruction, large-scale warfare and tanks set to the tune of a Limp Bizkit song. If you want an idea of how bananas the marketing is, the first quote revealed in the launch trailer called it “absolute cinema.”
The launch trailer, featuring the Limp Bizkit song “Break Stuff”, features plenty of explosions, high-octane action, destruction and planes crashing into mountains – it’s enough to make Michael Bay blush. So far, Battlefield 6’s reception has been quite positive, especially following its beta tests which were welcomed with open arms by Battlefield fans, calling it a worthy return to form for the series. Comparisons were made to the highs of the franchise’s career like Bad Company and Battlefield 3.
The description under the launch trailer reads:
“Battlefield 6 is almost here. The fight escalates, the scale expands, and the battlefield will never be the same. The ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage.”
