Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed yet again, this time to 20 March 2025. According to Ubisoft, the delay aims to “incorporate player feedback” and “fully deliver on the potential of the game.” This follows a reassurance from Ubisoft that the company was confident there’d be no more delays after it was previously pushed out of 2024 to February 2025. Players will now have to wait another month to enjoy the open-world title.
In a recent statement on the matter, Ubisoft said that the additional development time on Assassin’s Creed Shadows would allow the team to “better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months and help create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive Assassin’s Creed community.”
“We are all behind our teams’ efforts to create the most ambitious Assassin’s Creed opus of the franchise and made the decision to provide an extra month of development to Shadows in order to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months that will enable us to fully deliver on the potential of the game and finish the year on a strong note.”
