The Last Guardian -
One of my more shameful backlog games so decided to play it before getting around to God of War Ragnarok. An incredibly stylish game with beautiful and intricate animations for Trico and the boy (who has incredibly bendy arms and an indestructible shirt). Having had pets my entire life, some of those interactions were heartwarming.
Gameplay is seriously up and down though. For one, it's quite long, spreading the moments where the boy and Trico connect too far apart. On top of that, you've got laggy controls, moments of staring at the beautiful architecture trying to figure out where the way forward is, and then waiting around for Trico to orient him/her-self and actually perform the right action. To it's credit, as the bong grows the more Trico seems to get stuff done quicker or point out the right way, but it takes a while to get there.
