@Xirious - all the PS5 registered clients that opted to stay on the list will have an option to confirm their order for allocation. We have been told its a larger allocation as well so we expect to fill all remaining registrations (that received that SMS) in allocation 2
Any news on round 2 of the PS5 preorder?
I got the sms telling me I've been assigned as part of the second round, I replied YES and no response since. Also the SMS isn't clear if I'd be offered a chance to preorder separately or it would just be a mad dash with everyone at the same time to get a preorder in.
@phreak - I think you're not the only one with!-If the news coming from Aus/NZ and Europe is true - lot's of people are going for the more expensive Series X or PS5 blu-ray first which surprised me. I started shifting to digital at the beginning of this gen so when I can get a PS5, it'll be the all-digital one for sure.
For sh*ts and giggles decided to play AC3 remastered since I got it with AC Odyssey. The upscaled characters in cutscenes look not good, but surprisingly the game is better than I remember. Nice mindless fun to waste some time
A return to form for N4S, or a very good start.
The game looks good, & the handling takes time to master.
A simple thing like just changing the tires from drift to race can make a huge difference.
The customization is great, & you don't even have to pay for paint & decals!
You can choose & customize your avatar as well. Why you would want to give them a Jason hokey mask is beyond me.
The music is[censored], & so far the story is meh. Just a bunch of millennials racing cars.
You race during the day for money, which you use to buy upgrades & new cars.
& you race & night to earn reputation. This unlocks new parts, cars & progresses you though the story.
You can also change form night to day whenever you want.
You unlock things pretty quickly & earn good money, even if you come dead last.
Got enough bank together to buy my Nissan Skyline.
Got it almost like the movie
Earning money in this game is super easy!
Also wanted to add, theres no real car damage in the game. Dirt & scratches are about it.
There is a damage meter, but after going head on into oncoming traffic, it barely flinched.
Okay, so the damage meter really comes into effect when the cops chase you.
If you hit level 3 Heat with them, abandon the race & get the hell out of there!
Drifting is[censored]! Should be so easy, but the game makes it so hard!
Final Fantasy VII Demo - was pretty good, looks great but certainly wasn't enough to get me to drop over R1k for this, I'll wait for a 50% sale. The 2 playable characters were pretty boring though, guy with the sword had some decent attacks but it got old quickly and the gun dude was **** and terrible to play as.
Could be great to see with more flashy attacks. Would have liked to try other characters though. Having stuff tied to a command list is free roam is silly though, should have made it patter based like other hack 'n slash titles, slows down gameplay and doesn't flow as great.
Got my Nissan Skyline up to 251, & Rep to 25.
I love how Obstacles like trees, barriers & small walls don't bring you to a dead stop. You can drive straight through them, losing just a bit of speed.
Trying my best with the drifting is this game, but its not easy.
Story has gotten a little interesting, music still sucks though!
Tried the Resi 3 demo last night and it's fantastic. It looks so good. Not as scary as the original (having said that I was a kid when I played the original...) but it doesn't have that same ominous atmosphere (ask me again when the full game comes out). Jill looks great
Finished up on Starlink on PS4 (Something strange that people don't talk about, you can Plat the game without having to buy any extra ships or DLC) and now I am between FF Type O HD and Nier Automata (Nier for fun and FF for Level Gain Glitch)
About 16 Hours into Nier A and i think I am about to get to the end of the 1st run of 2B's story... Then onto 9S and all the other plays... Damn.... Platinums' games are freaking fun!
I really enjoyed the game
It was a fun game, a little bit tedious when it comes to a bit later in the game when you get to the last 3 planets with the dreadnoughts and them launching new Primes. 45 mins later you clear out again. But building Armory workshops on each planet help allot.
I know it was compared with Star Fox I can see why they say it, but this feels more like a Space 3rd Person Shooter. Madmax with no walking in character and flying between space.
If you can pick up a copy of the game for a good price, then yes! (think the Switch version would look cool... That Damn RWing...
Done with Ending B en got Ending G for Nier by accident... 35Hours in
took a break and started the MGS5 Def Edition on PS4. I originally played the game on Ps3 and now the Ps4 is looking amazing! (My wife likes to watch the game and not play, she likes the sneaking and stealth game play)
Made me wonder, is there a game that you guys/girls know is a fun "watch" game?
I reckon anything cinematic so TLoU, UC 2, 3 and 4, maybe a Gears or Halo, but not really on the same level. A good adventure game on may also be a good one, something classic like Maniac Mansion or even some of the more recent adventure games. The advantage of the adventure game genre is you can play together in trying to solve the puzzles so not a wholly passive experience for the watcher
This is one good looking game
The guns look, handle & sound just awesome!!!
Get a very strong Warhammer vib, or it just me?
Nice bit of exploring to do as well!
& the game runs super smooth, PS4. No screen tearing like Doom 2016, & load times are good!
Doom Eternal as well. Only one game breaking bug so far. It's entertaining, but hard to take serious (I think on purpose).
Good enough to spend some hours in. I find turning down the music makes it better. Fight me.
