Still have fond memories of a desk in my room with a PC and next to it tiny 4:3 CRT with a PS2 (and later X360) that facilitated endless gaming sessions on a battered but incredibly comfy bean bag.

5lbs of Pressure - decent crime film.

Inside Out 2 - beautiful animation but this was missing the broader appeal of Pixar films to all ages. Also no Bing Bong moment.

Wages of Fear - rubbish French remake (2024) of a brilliant French film (1953) which had a great American remake (1977),

Trigger Warning - Jessica Alba does Rambo. Great knife fighting sections in what could have been a two part TV episode.

Deadpool and Wolverine - I laughed a lot during this but I don't think it will bear repeat watching like the first two films. Very incoherent plot.

Suspiria (1977) - horror classic. Foreshadowing courtesy of loud screeching music. I guess you had to be there in the 70s.

Amazon Prime has a load of horror Cult classics all leaving in a few days.

Lifeforce and The Vampire Lovers (Hammer film with Peter Cushing) were both mildly rubbish. Later 'cult status' may be due to gratuitous nudity perhaps?

Night of the Living Dead - 'colorized' OG. Zombies are more terrifying because they still have basic tool skills (opening doors, using bricks to break windows etc). Interesting watch.

Return of the Living Dead - this was fun.

Werewolves Within - OK, had high hopes for this but it was just a decent watch in the end.

Crow (1994) - Showmax has 3 of the first 4 Crow films (current one is 5th). Started a Crow marathon to see how bad the new one is compared to the sequels. Nothing more needs to be said about how awesome the first one is. Showmax version is not the remaster though.

@Scottie
The first two Return of The Living Dead movies are awesome. Forget the rest. Unpopular opinion, I prefer the 1990's Night of The Living Dead remake over the original.

Plot pretty much carries on from the last movie.
But it was still good.
Reggie

Sherlock Holmes 2 The Shadow Game
Same as the first movie, bit more action.
Still not a fan.

Jackpot
Way better then I thought it was gana be.
Its basically a different take on the Purge.

Transformers One
Good.

Planet of the Apes
The Tim Burton one.
I was hoping it would age better, but unfortunately not.
Its not that bad, but not that good either.
Would not have minded seeing the sequel though.

The Crow (2024) - terrible film that leaves open the possibility of a decent sequel (unlikely given the Box Office)

First 53 min was an excruciating love story between two dimwits, then came 30 min of 'sad sack' Crow before we got 'bad ass' Crow at 1h23. The Opera House fight was great, if only the film had more of that. 'Limbo' was cool and so was the Gary Numan song in anotherwise mediocre sound track. A supernatural vigilante sequel would have been interesting if it was shot like a John Wick film - zero plot and non stop 'rated R' action.

Crow: City of Angels - still terrible.

Crow: Wicked Prayer - never saw this before. Straight to DVD. Funny bad, like a spoof. Edward Furlong looks like a teenage girl cosplaying Robert Smith from The Cure.

Wasp - OK psychological crime film.

Bikeriders - fictionalized story of the beginning of the Outlaws motorcycle gang set in 60s and 70s. Great cast.

Longlegs - supernatural FBI serial killer film. Got good reviews but I didn't like it.

The Pope's Exorcist - surprisingly action orientated. Crowe has fun. Decent watch.

Hijack 1971 - K film that got a theatre release. Good watch. Seeing that pensive dog in the yard and then realizing it was a Nureongi (bred for meat). Thank heavens ROK has come along way in 50 years.

Brats - documentary by Andrew McCarthy on the Brat Pack (Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink etc). Interesting if you're familiar with those films.

Drive-Away Dolls - Ethan Coen (the less famous brother) film. Decent comedy.

Trap -meh, I see Lady Raven was played by M. Night Shyamalan's daughter. His other daughter directed The Watchers.

Late Night with the Devil - this was a very good horror comedy.
