@DG - I enjoyed the Debt Collector films. Good fights and banter but paper thin plots

Debt Collectors - fun sequel.

Beverley Hills Cops 2 - good rewatch.

Night Swim - meh, demonic swimming pool.

Manodrome - weird film, goes crazy at the end.

Civil War - good film.

I.S.S - Russian and American astronauts caught on I.S.S during a nuclear war. Dull

Three John Wayne westerns:
1950s Hondo was OK.
1960s El Dorado and Rio Bravo were both exellent. Same Sheriff station used in both which was interesting.

Avatar: The Way of Water - good but at least 45 minutes could have been edited out.

Scalp Hunters - decent 60s comedy western.

Nine Days - weird film.

Twilight Of The Warriors- Walled In (2024)
This feels like Raid: The redemption meets Kung-fu hustle. Noice action and fight scenes

Its not terrible, but its not great.
Don't like the editing either, trying to do scenes like comic book panels.
Hulk looks okay, but the CGI is not holding up that well now.

Tears of the Sun Directors Cut
Very good Bruce Willis movie. Also stars Monica Bellucci, who I just watched in the Matrix movies. Very different roles, but she did both so well.

We Are Zombies.

Beverely Hills Cop 3 - rubbish. Made in the 90s, missing several key people fro the two 80s films.

IF - OK. Better for children only. Not much for the kids at heart here.

The Incredible Hulk
Better in every way then the first one.
Just unfortunate Norton did not come back for the Avengers movies.
& by Endgame & She Hulk, Hulk is reduced to a unrecognizable little [censored]!

Pitch Black
One of those movies that gets better with each watch.

The Norton version is what Hulk should look like and be, not that middle-aged, midlife crisis silverback gorilla that Whedon gave us.

Twisters - Better than expected.

Duel at Diablo - decent western. Laughed at teh wooden horse props though.

Garfield (2024) - easily the best Garfield film but that isn't a very high bar.

Wong Kar-Wai's Days of being Wild(1990) Excellent Music and cinematography. Pretty good characters. A bit boring though. Comfortably WKW's worst movie. 6/10.

Downfall (2004) Great insight into Hitler's mindset during the ending stages of WW2. Also great insight into the mindsets of his followers and the cult of personality he had. Very authentic. 8/10

The Chronicles of Riddick Directors Cut
Big departure from the first movie, but still great!

G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra
Fun action movie. Lots of recognizable faces.

Consumed - Had a bigger budget than I expected and went a little in on the cosmic horror side of the Wendigo.

IF - I don't even know what they were trying to do with this.

All about Eve - marvelous film from the golden age of cinema. Referenced in so many modern works.

Valdez is coming - functional western.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F - pretty good, back to the old team from the 80s. TWO heavy vehicle chases included. I guess to make up for the missing one in the crap third film.

Rolling Thunder - saw an article for the top 10 revenge films and eight of them I was 100% in agreement. The other two I hadn't seen. Film 9 is this, writen by Paul Schrader (Taxi driver). Takes about 90% of the film contextualising the kill them all ending. A product of 1977 and the grand daddy for future revenge films. Tarantino called his first film company Rolling Thunder and the baddies here the 'Acuna Boys' feature in Kill Bill.
