Army of One - complete garbage. Zero laughs. Unbelievable that Larry Charles was involved in this utter tripe.
12 Strong - good film, aside from some cartoony CGI.
When Marnie Was There - wow, another Ghibli masterpiece 9/10.
Birds of Prey - pretty decent film, if it hadn't finished so strongly though I might have been less charitable in my assessment.
I watched the UK dub one, & then skipped through the US dub one. Just to see the differences.
The US one replaces the original music with hip hop, & the dubs are not very good.
Don't know if they were the cut/uncut ones. Both are the same, except for the music.
I was so thankful for the happy ending in an otherwise thoroughly depressing and morbid film about mental health and the perception of it in the 60's.
There was a scene involving a seemingly recovered girl's suicide which was too much for me, and it wouldn't have "worked" if the acting wasn't as good as it was, especially from Angelina Jolie, who delivered an outstanding performance as someone who had gone completely over the brink.
The Old Guard - Follows the original comics pretty closely with some small changes.
The Outpost - A decent film based on real events in Afghanistan. Not as patriotic as I thought it would be, but still definitely falls on the "America is the good guy narrative" of things.
Old Guard - was good but it was a mistake to read the comic just before, due to how close it followed the comic. There were some changes, will be interesting to see how this ties into the second comic story arc that just finished (Old Guard Force Multiplied).
