I really enjoyed it, slower than John Wick, but still really cool. The only part I thought was overdone was the start of the cabin attack. You know the part I'm talking about. Also, those bad guys were built up so much and that climax was so unsatisfying in that context
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - It was ok, that main actor is so annoying in the last movie that I didn't even want to see this, luckily there are more actors that are focused on in this movie. I fell asleep somewhere when they went into the ministry of magic and woke up when a bunch of wizards had come together in a cemetery. Dunno how much I missed but what I watched was decent enough.
Big Trouble in Little China
Is it a classic, yes. Has it aged well, no. Is it a fun movie, yes. Is it a good movie, no.
The Last House on the Left
The remake. Very good, but not for the faint of heart.
Rob Zombie's Halloween 2
The first one was good, this one takes place directly after the first one. With Laurie in the hospital, like the original. But that is just a dream, & the film jumps forward 2 years. Loomis is an [censored] now, for some reason. & the movie just goes to[censored].
Mortal Engines…Thank you Peter Jackson, a proper Steampunk movie. Yes the storyline was flat, however, the visuals was amazing. He captured a Steampunk world perfectly, even the airships was done to the tee…only thing it missed or needed was some magic. And the “guest appearance” by the Minions was a nice touch. Best non Marvel movie for me for 2018.
Peter Jackons confirmed this is a trilogy, after the ending…not sure what the storyline can be for the rest of the movies,
Bohemian Rhapsody… Bit of a let down, for me, was not really my cup of tea…
Crazy Rich Asians - vacuous garbage
Kubo and the Two Strings - brilliant film
Sausage Party - very funny but breathtakingly crude
Dark Tower - watchable
Despicable Me - pretty good
Despicable Me 2 - still good
Christopher Robin - quite excellent
Restrepo - excellent documentary film
I got the idea that Aquaman is the “Thor” of the DC Universe (or they tried to make him) …lot of similarities to the Thor movies….Only the true bloodline can use the Trident (only the worthy), the Atlantian look and amour was so Asgardian… even Aquaman’s jokes was something Thor would have said…
Is it not ironic that Jason Momoa’s big break came in Stargate Atlantis as Ronon Dex
