Westworld S3 - phenomenal. Tighter 8 episode run was a good idea. Probably shades Watchmen for me. Those two along with His Dark Materials - what a time to be alive for watching TV. Cannot wait to see where they go in season 4.
Need to finish The Man in the High Castle plus Showmax will start the new WWII alt-history show Plot Against America on Monday.
Bitten SE1Ep1 - I remember watching this a while back but never finished because of the weekly release and such, now that it's on Netflix I can try get through it all, I remember enjoying it except for that one guy that was just an annoying character.
I used to watch this and American Chopper on Discovery channel regularly, These were great in the pre-financial crisis days when it was cool to see people blow fortunes on cars and unnecessary customisation. After that though when you realised that everything was balanced so finely on a knife-edge not so much.
WCC adapted well, but AFAIK his shops in Dubai(?) and Berlin all closed shop with the crisis.
I know that OCC did file for bankruptcy and lost or almost lost the OCC HQ. I watched the season where Sr and Jr started trying to repair their relationship and that was a nice angle, the bikes though weren't interesting enough for me.
Bitten SE1 - I didn't really enjoy this, it's something you watch because you know there is potential there but it never manages to find it. SE2 has witches but it's still not great, only really watching cause there is nothing else to watch I'm not sure how you mess up witches and werewolves but somehow they have managed, if vampires come into season 3 then they will probably[censored] that up as well.
Stargirl ep 1 - From a quality point it seems way better than those other CW show, visual effects are much better as well so you can see it didn't start as a CW thing, how the show will go when it moves over there is yet to be seen but so far it's up there with Titans. I don't care for or know much about this character and the first ep was decent enough.
Stargirl S01E01 - Clearly has a more than CW budget. The opening made me wish that they would've done a JSA show instead. The setup is fine and the actors good, but the move to a small town that basically houses all the villains is just silly.
Bitten SE3 - It was ok, I skipped through a bunch of it as it felt like too much filler, could have been a 4ep mini series, I did like the outcome at the end but the ending felt rushed and just abruptly ended as if they thought a season 4 was coming.
Stargirl S1 EP1 - Will have to wait and see how this develops.
DC Showcase Presents Adam Strange.
DC Showcase Present Death.
DC Showcase Presents Sgt. Rock.
DC Showcase Presents The Phantom Stranger - Apart from Death, which was pretty weak these were cool. Though Karl Urban needs to find more than one voice for a character now. Rock may just as well have been him playing Dredd again.
Agents of Shield season 6
Not liking the whole Shield in space thing, & those bat creatures
Like how they keep killing off ppl, & then bringing them back. Their deaths mean nothing if you do that.
Season 7 is the final one, so will see how they end it.
Netflix's Good Girls season 1 - Moms getting into Cartel underworld. I think I'm loving the show more then I should and the comedy is great with some tense moments
Fynskrif season s1-s3e6 - It's an Afrikaans local drama/comedy/"that happened" show. It's one of the best Afrikaans shows I have seen. Writing is great and flow of the show with conversations. Great characters and good human story. Props to the writing and Production teams on that.
