Hey guys, I’ve noticed that there are still a few of us die hard fans on the forum, so, I thought that rather than bombarding the chatbox, we could have our own dedicated thread to everything Wrestling.

Okay heres the thing, I can only watch WWE! I only have SABC & ETV, ETV shows WWE & that’s it! I used to check You Tube now & again to see what was happening on TNA & ROH, but I have lost my You Tube rights SO I can only comment on WWE, which I voted for. I am not happy with the direction WWE have taken, but now & again they still do something good! TNA was doing well from what I heard & saw, but since Bischoff arrived I think that might have changed! ROH is where all the good stuff goes down

- A source within WWE notes that Chavo Guerrero quitting is bigger news than most think, noting that Batista, Chris Jericho, MVP, Matt Hardy and now Chavo all asked to be released or let their contracts expire, and CM Punk is doing the same.

There is said to be a handful of other stars who have been talking about doing the same thing. Guerrero's departure caught a lot of the WWE talents off guard and several were praising him for having the guts to walk away.

- WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk turns 67 years old today while Cody Rhodes turns 26 and Alicia Fox turns 25.

- Ring of Honor's Jim Cornette wrote the following regarding CM Punk name dropping ROH on Monday's RAW: "@CMPunk Recognizes the best wrestling in the world when he sees it.Thanks Punk. #bitw #ROHbest #findroh"

Im in the same boat as Knightfall500 except I varient on a few tings:
I can only watch WWE! I only have SABC & ETV, ETV shows WWE! I used to check You Tube now again to see what was happening on TNA but now i read up the websites to save up my data for other youtube viewing. SO I can only comment on WWE, which I voted for . I am not happy with the direction WWE like they have taken with pushing Randy and Cena, but again they still do something good like R-Truth, which is two fold coz Ron Killings is a great superstar but in order to have main events/storylines he is degrading himself.

WWE is my life, been with them through the bad, good and its like coke, you get other variens that has some shizzle and extra flavour but when it comes down to it...coke is forever

Agree with KF too on Bishoff too, he is too gimicky

DD, KF and Takz have been talking up ROH and now that CM Punk is going there I am keen to start watching it.

I did not really care when Batista left. Jericho has come & gone over the past few years. He spends a few years with his band, & then comes back to the WWE. MVP will probably go to TNA, if he is not there already. Matt went to TNA with his bro, Jeff. Chavo leaving is a shock! But if he leaves Vicky should not be far behind, which is a good thing

I don’t know so much KF, MVP seems very happy in New Japan Pro Wrestling and I really don’t see him coming back to the USA circuit anytime soon.

I was thinking, you guys said you got some friggin awesome, bloody match ups on DVD and I just bought a 3D tv so what do you guys think about meeting up at my place and having a wrestling marathon? It will be like blood and teeth flying outta the TV! Even Play Raw vs Smackdown!

Just watched the Rise and Fall of the ECW again, loved that documentary. The one thing I have to do is give credit where its due, and yes, the “Devil” himself, Vince K. McMahon deserves a bit. He was good to the ECW in their early days, he helped promote their first PPV and gave them a bit of hype. I don’t think it was out of the goodness of his heart, I think it was because of Paul Hayman and Vince’s hatred for WCW. The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend…

Vince is a business man, my role model in business, I was watching CM Punk's rant again and the reality is that Vince saw a demand in the market and exploited. I agree that WWE has 1st class atlethes, BUT its #1 priority is making money from the fans by giving them sports entertainment and NOT showing who the best wrestlers are, so if CM Punk wants to show his skill, then EFC, ROH, even MMA tournies is more combat and less storylines.

Vince knew ECW would never be a threat like WCW was. Plus he could troll for future talent! Bischoff stole a LOT of talent from ECW, I’m not too sure about WWE stealing talent from ECW. Although Paul Hamon said Vince did! So many guys started in ECW & then went to WCW & finally WWE. To name a few Chris Jericho, Eddie, Rey, Benoit...

Even though Bischoff is at TNA, in my books they are defintly on the up.
I've got TOPTV that has rights for TNA on Setanta Africa. I see all the matches and LIVE events.

3 hour MAIN events every month
recently added a point system for number one contendership and fight the champ in 3 months.
recently started a x div tournament for up and coming x-div fighters.
next event, Destination X (comlpete X division event)
re-runs
all the TNA covarage is only 1 day late (impact on thursday but air on Setanta on Friday)

Cons's
Only on TOPTV
sometimes TOPTV schedules not correct and you miss shows (but there's always re-runs)
sometimes the back of rings action seems a bit too staged.

I know some of the points are not really comment on TNA but you have to see it from the perspective of someone living in SA.

@TheViperZA "all the TNA covarage is only 1 day late" DAMN!! ETV is three weeks behind here with WWE! But atleast they show the WWE ppvs! Who is the current TNA champ?

I'm guessing when Bishoff, Hogan and Russo showed up the first thing they did was drop the X Division stars! LowKis back on TNA? He was Kaval on WWE right?

Cena tells Vince if he does not reinstate Cm Punk for a title match, he wil walk out! Vince says okay BUT if Cena loses, hes fired!!!

I hope Punk brakes Kayfab, beats the snot out of Cena, wins the title then goes to ROH and throws the title in the trash like Alundra Blaze did when she went to WCW
