So, The December January Loaf is upon us (DJL)
What is everybody planning?
Catch up on that gaming backlogg?
Marathon a couple of tv shows?
Travel?

Personally I want to try and finish 2 mayor games. Finish at least 3 Series, watch about 7 Movies.

The rest must be spent bringing order to the house, and hopefully visiting some people I have not seem in a while.

Taking most of December off to look after our little one. Day Care's in a small town over the December break is rare. Hopefully play some Persona Dancing over that time.

Forgot to mention... With University closing time, I can get 3 weeks of for 7 days leave (18 December - 9 Jan) This sounds so freaking nice, but on the other hand, Dec-Jan we are on skeleton staff. So you rock up at 9:30 and leave around 14:00. Seems like a waste of leave days

Same as every year, chilling at home & catching up on gaming, movies & shows.
Normally I take 3 weeks, from end of Dec. to middle of Jan. But we are a bit short staffed, had another layoff this year. So will only take 2 weeks.

Will be spending the holidays recharging, it has been a crazy year. Last year's holidays were miserable in Ireland, most depressing Christmas ever and New Years my son and I spent alone at home while DP's dumb job had him do an overnight shift (yes on freakin NYE).

Possibly spending NYE at the coast as my folks are sorting out a good deal on a hotel for us. But that isn't confirmed yet.

TBH will just be good to do nothing for a week or two, spend time in my own house, maybe do some DIY, work in the garden etc. Loads of braais.

How far away are you? If you work at Wits you aren't in another province surely?

Same as every year. Work. Three movies to see in December so that's something to look forward to. And the lie that I'll actually tackle that gaming backlog again.
