Share your travel tips, views, post pics of any place you have been to in Asia...

We are thinking of visiting Singapore/Malaysia this December, wanted to know if anyone has any tips or cool places to go to.

I'm going to japan for a week in August.
Will be visiting akihabara, a anime studio, mt Fuji, ect.
Will share pics and stuff when I get back.

What, no North Korea?

Was in Thailand in December for 7 days.

More for touristy things as we were only in Bangkok but they have so many Malls you just don't have enough time to see it all.

Did find some awesome things like Dragon ballz and stuff.
Japan is most definitely the best destination to visit imo

Only tip I can give anyone when travelling is eat where the locals eat. That way you experience the food as it should be and you get to meet loads of interesting people. Do touristy stuff, they are designed to be fun, but definitely try and do what the locals do.

Also, don't eat meat in Asia if price is a problem for you.

Meat there is insanely expensive.

i would not recommend Japan if you are already planning on Malaysia/ Singapore unless you have a lot more money you are willing to use.

Of all the Asian countries, Japan is the most expensive (from my experience).

Singapore is a great place to visit. They speak English there, they have shopping malls at nearly every train station, food is very cheap.

i would say South Korea is a good place to visit too. Again, must cheaper than Japan.

Depends exactly what you are looking or.

When I was younger I wanted to go to Japan, as I grew up I realized I only wanted to go there because I was into anime, now I have no real interest in going there. If I had to go to an Asian country it would be singapore, but in my older age I'd much rather go to France, Switzerland, Monaco etc. It helps that I wouldn't need visa and all that admin that comes with it.

When we first started dating Snow wanted to have our honeymoon in Japan, thank goodness she outgrew that lol

Hong Kong and Singapore are really nice. Plus the English is great in Hong Kong and even better in Singapore(official language there). Singapore was a great experience for me.

If anybody likes rugby then in 2019 the world cup will be in Japan, and some matches will be in Hong Kong and Singapore.

I would say no (unless you dont care for the Olympics and want to visit places that are not near Tokyo.)

you mean to tell me that they get the rugby world cup, the olympics, and the world cup in 2022? (assuming the Qatar shenanigans ever gets resolved and they get chosen for it instead lol)

I know a lot of hipsters don't want people visiting japan, but it can be a beautiful country to visit if you go at the right times, and most likely around spring or autumn season, and outside of tokyo
