Yeah it's becoming increasingly annoying when all these people jump on the bandwagon, especially when they have no clue what they are even doing. Before throwing fuel on the fire do some damn investigation, play the demo or watch someone who is playing, see what they are earning how they are earning it and how they spend it. Can't stand when it comes from people who know nothing about the game either.
@DP you know the internet needs something to be angry about and so called "games journalists" and youtubers need a new topic to complain about. So Devil May Cry 5 will be for the next week the topic or anger etc. I personally don't give a[censored]. I'm getting DMC5
Capcom haven't changed red orb earning, moves and items cost similar to the other games, as does earning them. Moves cost between 8000 and 35000 depending on their tier level, during a mission people playing the demo where earning between 20k-30k orbs per mission then there are also the bonus orbs you get after a mission which is dependent on your style rank and that can be another 20k, so 1 mission gives over 40k orbs. Clearly not very hard to get, only one move is an exception and that costs 3million orbs. So nothing out of the ordinary from previous games or similar titles like Bayonetta.
@DP fully agree. If someone wants to be dumb enough and pay for red orbs then let them. But as long as they don't they don't make it almost impossible to gain the higher moves by just playing normally and grinding then I don't have an issue. And I don't mind grinding in games either.
As long as it doesn't affect the way we earn red orbs so they try and force the purchase option which they aren't then it doesn't matter. If someone wants to level up to max straight away and breeze through the game then that's fine as well. We live in much busier times, options to speed things up will happen in many games.
